[edit] UnionWiki Workshop
UnionWiki Workshop is a comprehensive introduction into the use of wikis, with special attention paid to the question of how we can use wikis to work together effectively. Wikis only work when they are backed by community, so in this workshop we'll help one another build a UnionWiki community by collaborating on the ContractWiki project at the cgeu wiki. The first step of the project will be collecting all of our contracts in one place. Once we've done that, we'll decide together how best to organize the information. Participants are encouraged to bring wifi laptops, but are not required to know anything about wikis.
Get an early start on UnionWiki Workshop! The ContractWiki project is already online at http://www.cgeu.org/wiki. Stop by and add a link to your local's contract. If you need help, Mark and Dave will be hosting a virtual meeting on Wednesday, August 9, from 7-9pm Eastern. Email wikiwednesday@umgeo.org for more info.
