Brief bio:

Staff organizer for the Teaching Assistants' Association at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since May 2003.
Member activist of the Graduate Employees' Organization at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, from 1996-2003. I'm ABD and still working on my dissertation in English: ask me about the New York Intellectuals, Trotskyist politics, theories of intellectual labor, and postmodern American literature!
Likes pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.
